I selected this quote because nothing could be closer to the truth.
This is one of my favorite images that I selected when I see this image of the early childhood classroom I am at once transported to why I am passionate about early childhood education.

ReplyDeleteI adore NAEYC and am so glad we have them as a support and resource organization. Over the years, I have learned so much from journals and books, but most importantly from the people at NAEYC. The people are the ones that are making a difference in early childhood.
I really like your quote and it is one I had not heard of before. Thank you for sharing it. I have added it to my 'quote wall' that is behind my desk. It is such a true statement.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore your blog name! What is the inspiration behind the name? After reading your post, I was encouraged to visit the NAEYC website for information and inspiration. Before beginning this program, I had not heard of NAEYC. Through this course and our course text "Developmentally Appropriate Practices" I have come to admire and respect the practices set forth by NAEYC. I am motivated to use the resources recommended on the website in order to make teaching and learning successful for my students and myself.
